LEARN CROSSFIT FUNDAMENTALS

Our Fundamentals is designed for our newest members. It’s an informational and instructional program for anyone trying CrossFit for the first time. We slow down our usual pace to guide you through the basic movements and core stability exercises, get you familiarized with proper mechanics and technique, and get your body primed to join our group classes. Fundamentals is designed to ensure your success; we cover everything from our programming philosophy, proper exercise modifications and scaling, and regulating individual intensity.

It’s the best way to start your CrossFit journey and to get ramped up and prepped for our regular group classes. Because the Fundamentals program one on one with one of our professional CrossFit coaches, they have plenty of opportunity to help you work on technique and get to know your unique goals and needs. Fundamentals consists of 5-20 one on one sessions depending on your goals.  Do you have a friend who would be interested in working out with you?  We can do 1-on-2 sessions as well!

JOIN OUR CROSSFIT CLASSES

The backbone of the program is traditional CrossFit workouts, focusing on strength, conditioning, and mobility. Our CrossFit gym in Mayfield is the perfect place for these workouts, which combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and duration to create unparalleled results. From the basic (but all-important) air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.

Great gym, recently moved to the area and the people who work out here make this gym awesome! Extremely motivating and positive, even at 5 AM! Unfortunately already moving again but will definitely be back to this gym!

Crooked River Crossfit is my home away from home where my second family is. I have been a member of CRC now for 6 years and it has changed my life significantly. The coaching staff is great in helping each member from beginners to the most seasoned members improving each day in his or her fitness journey and goals. I have developed many friendships here closer than many others outside of the gym. The support, encouragement, and motivation from all the others members is wonderful, and to me is something you cannot find anywhere else. CRC offers Fit30 which is a 30 minute workout body weight and dumbbell type movements with no barbells for anyone not interested in full out CrossFit right away. Do not be fooled by this as the workouts are still intense and make you get a sweat on! My overall fitness since over the years here has passed beyond limits of what I could have ever imagined possible. I urge you to stop in today if you are thinking about something new for fitness. CRC is amazing. Great people & coaches always there to help push you to your fitness goals. From the 6 week challenges, Fit30 classes or Crossfit classes there is something for everyone at this gym at any fitness level.
